We often hear the term gang among the community, and tends to have negative views of the word, but what is the meaning of real gang? In English,, Äúgank, Äù interpreted as a group of young people who spend time together, often create problems and fights with other groups. While in the Big Indonesian Dictionary says that the gang is a group of young people are famous because of the similarity of social background, school and so forth. The gang is defined as a group of people whose numbers can not be too much, who do activities together, and have the same hobby. Activities undertaken negative can be positive. Among Indonesian youth gang is defined as a social tool to identify themselves and need to be recognized. Gangs or youth groups are actually not necessarily negative, because it can form study groups or groups of positive activity. But if it leads to rivalry and violence of course this must be stopped, because it will develop into a dangerous thing.Adolescence is claimed to be the most beautiful and dangerous in human life. Search for someone's identity begins in adolescence. Unfortunately this important phase of one's life is often done without parental assistance. Adolescent problem becomes more complicated, as dereliction of duty to teach family values and community norms and regulations. but at these ages they are in desperate need of a role or a good adult figure that they can later examples. The reason some parents neglect their duty, due to, among other mindset of parents who assume the cost of education for their children that's what counts. Parents give their responsibility to the school. Throwing the responsibility of the family institution to the school is very unfortunate. After all families and schools have similar responsibilities in educating children with materials and different ways. Consequently in this phase adolescents often consciously or unconsciously take the wrong path because of their confusion. With the lack of this observation, the teenagers trying to find someone who would emulate from their peers, it's no wonder that many teenagers who would rather spend time with friends than family members. They better enjoy doing activities with close friends, who have the same hobby. Forming an exclusive group, with the term "nge-gang".
If teens already have or join a group or gang they can do and give up anything, with one goal, Solidarity. They feel your friends is the most understanding and attention to their lives, besides that they also feel the same boat. Geng, becomes an extraordinary place where it could lead to something positive. But sometimes misunderstood solidarity, for example, by reason of such solidarity group members were given the challenges or pressures such as smoking, drugs, skip school, brawl and many others. Due to the great desire for recognition in his group and the inability to say, Äútidak, Äù, made all the challenges given by forced and lamakelamaan this behavior becomes a habit, and eventually became a character that is manifested in a variety of negative behaviors.

To anticipate the teens entered in the wrong group, should be communication between parent and child becomes a very important thing to do. The parents continue to monitor and pay attention to the development of their children, and need to know what activities are being followed by their children, but it should also find out who your friends or with whom their child has been hanging out, in this case parents can act as a friend or friends for their teenage son or daughter. In addition to the family environment, school environment also plays an important role. Educators in schools that teachers should teach with discipline and love in which two things are very important to teenagers. Discipline will help to control the behavior and the behavior of teenagers and you can control the emotions of the teenagers who are often overwhelming, where the love of the teens will feel more cared for and feel will be better understood, and it's easier to communicate with them. According to the experience that is felt by some educators in SMK Wira Hope, teenagers today prefer a soft and firm language to be invited to communicate, rather than a hard and rough language, making it easier for mengkorek any information about problems that are facing students. In this way young people can be given a correct understanding of values and norms prevailing in society. Cooperation between families and schools is what will help the teens to more easily deal with their difficult times, so the less likely they will be stuck in a group or the wrong thing.
